In a powerfully written op-ed, former valedictorian and non-speaking autistic advocate Elizabeth Bonker demands action — not with a voice, but by tapping one letter at a time (which took hours). She calls on the NYState Senate and Disabilities Committee to release the Communication Bill of Rights for Individuals with Disabilities (S7792b) and bring it to a vote.
